Whiting Park is located on the Blackwater River.

Canoes and kayaks are available for off premises
or on the river. Drop-off trips are scheduled through
the park. There's a nominal fee and reservations are recommended. Small boat trailers are rented also.

Whiting Park is a "one of a kind" Navy water recreation facility, located on the beautiful Blackwater River, just east of downtown Milton, Florida. There is something for the whole family, including boat rentals, volleyball, basketball, horseshoes, and a wading area and playground for the kids. The park boat rental fleet includes ski, bass, jon, tri-hull and, pontoon party boats, as well as canoes and kayaks. Boating and skiing accessories are also available for rent. Gasoline and some petroleum products are available for purchase to authorized customers, however, mechanical services and boat parts are not available.There is a Ship's Store with variety of snacks and beverages for sale. The park also rents a utility trailer, Casita travel campers, and large smoker grills on wheels.

Five pavilions are available for use at no charge. Reservations are recommended and can be taken
90 days in advance.

Whiting is open to military and DOD employees,
military contractor personnel with ID, and Navy
League of Milton, Florida. Proper ID required.
