SPLASH PASSES
Splash Passes are $30 for 15 visits retirees & military dependents * $40 DOD.
These passes can be used for a one time try-out for Master's Swim
to see if you would like to join the program. Passes expire after 3 months.
Splash Passes may be purchased at the pool - exact change or checks please.

MASTERS' SWIM
(Trained instructors on hand for tips and workout specific to swimmers level)
Open to all eligible patrons. * $30/ mo Mil*$35 DOD * $40 Civ * 5 - 6 pm * Mon -Tue-Thu-Fri
($4 fee for trial swim)

SPECIAL PROGRAMS

OTHER PROGRAMS

  • Pensacola Navy Youth Swim Team, a year-around swim team program that
    can be joined at any time.     Child need only swim length of pool with rotary breathing
    and one length backstroke to qualify. Open to military & civilian 6 - 18 years of age.

Summer Private Pool Party Rentals
Private Rentals are available at outdoor pools from 7 pm to 10 pm.
Two lifeguards are provided. Call 452-9429 for price, scheduling and availability.

JUNIOR LIFEGUARD
Ages 11 - 15 *** Summer 2012 Dates TBA*** $160
Junior Lifeguard Tryouts will be at Bldg 3828 and at the E Pool. 
Applicants must be able to swim 100 yards, run 400 yards, tread water
(using legs only) for 2 minutes and swim underwater for 5 yards.  Selection is based
on performance and a brief interview. 

LIFEGUARD CERTIFICATION CLASS
(Spring 2012 Dates TBA)
Training Cost is $175.  Must be able to swim 300 yards. 
A pre-test is required - call 452-9429 for more information.

Employment Tryouts for spring and summer lifeguard positions will be held in April.
  Applicants must be currently certified and have completed an application and turned
it into NAF Personnel.  The employment test consists of three parts - a written
25 question test, a fitness test (300 yards using Free and Breast, and a brick swim) and
a set of scenarios that evaluate your performance in the following skills: 
Infant, Child and Adult CPR, Rescue Breathing and Choking,
Active Rescue, Passive Rescue (both surface and submerged), Deep-Water Spinal,
Bleeding, Shock, escapes, extractions, the use of protective equipment, and
appropriate communication skills.  Please call 452-9429 to schedule your tryout.
