The Computer area is open
and can be accessed from the Library
Hours: 9 am - 9 pm M-F * Noon - 6 pm
Weekends * Closed Holidays
Located at 250 Chambers Ave., Bldg. 634, the
library has an extensive selection of books, current
periodicals and newspapers from major port cities. Education
videos, audio books and back issues of magazines are
available for checkout, while a TV/VCR, word processor,
Internet access and typewriter are available for use
in the library. A FAX machine, photo-
copier and microform
reader/printer are available for use for a fee; however,
change is not provided on site. There is a large computer
room with over 42computer stations, 3 B/W
printers, online
subscriptions to educational, informational and recreational
sites, computer notebook hook-ups and study
areas.
There is a Children's area with materials in book, cassette and CD formats.
All library patrons are encouraged to join the Pensacola area Friends of Military
Libraries,
which works to raise money for both the NAS Pensacola and the Corry
Station libraries
and to act as an advocate for library services.
