INTERN PROGRAM AGREEMENT

Department
This agreement is entered into as of the effective date set forth below, by and between
the MWR Director, Pensacola, Florida and the MWR Intern Student. The MWR
Director, as an agency of the U.S. Government, will provide placement for the
individual and services as listed below for the period described herein upon the terms and
conditions as set forth. The intern student is not an employee of the Morale, Welfare, and
Recreation Department under the terms of this agreement. This agreement identifies
key points of interest between the MWR Director and the intern student. No modification of
this agreement or representation made of the person shall be valid or binding unless in
writing and signed by all parties.

Winter Spring (Circle One)
Stipend Terms: $100.00 per week to be paid every two weeks.
Housing Terms: MWR will pay for BQ billeting. Intern is responsible for
all telephone expenses.
SPECIAL PROVISIONS: The intern shall at times work under the supervision
of the intern supervisor and MWR program unit supervisors to which assigned.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: The MWR intern shall be assigned to a variety of MWR programs, facilities, special projects, public relations and administrative luncheons.
MEDICAL/DENTAL: Work related emergency medical and dental care will be available to the student at the student's expense. Routine medical and dental care must be arranged by the student off base at the student's expense.
HEALTH/FITNESS: The student must be in good health and physically fit to perform the various internship duties indoors and outdoors.
AVAILABILITY FOR SERVICES: The MWR Internship Program will require a
combination of daytime, evening, weekend, and holiday work, both scheduled and
unscheduled. The intern student agrees to be available for all assignments and once all
requirements upon request. The stipend will be maximum remuneration received for all hours
worked unless specifically outlined in the terms of payment section of this agreement.
THE ABOVE STUDENT SHALL NOT BE CONSIDERED AN EMPLOYEE OF THE UNITED STATED
GOVERNMENT FOR WORKER'S COMPENSATION PURPOSES. FEDERAL INCOME TAX AND FICA WILL BE
WITHHELD FROM THE STUDENT INTERN'S STIPEND.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this agreement as of
the effective date of agreement set forth above.
