F rom box lunches
or picnic gatherings to seven course gourmet meals, MWR has a catering
connection that can plan the meals and provide settings for all
kinds of parties, gatherings and functions. Established to coordinate
all of the on base catering for military, DOD and sponsored groups
or organizations, Mustin Beach Catering can set up for events at
the Officers’ Club,
Lighthouse Point, and the National
Museum of Naval Aviation. Some folks even order catered food
to pick up and take home for a planned party. |
One of the most popular sites
for special events, the museum, has just opened up its doors to
wedding receptions and reservations are already being booked. One
family is even including a private IMAX showing and museum tour
for the family reunion. Of course the historic Mustin Beach
Officers’ Club and Lighthouse Point, both with scenic water
views and beach front at the back door, continue to be the “in-spot”
for catered affairs, with bookings as far as a year ahead.
Mustin Beach Catering serves all military and DOD and offer a wide
variety of venues for differing needs. With years of experience
and a list of consultants to include musicians, bakeries, florists,
photographers and any other service that might be required, the
catering staff, including an executive chef for gourmet meals, can
help take the worry out of planning for functions of all sizes.

Other MWR Catering Venues
The Oaks
Restaurant does it's own catering and events can be scheduled
at the Crow's Nest upstairs at Bayou
Grande Marina by contacting them separately. Located
inside the museum, the Cubi Bar Café
has been reconstructed using the authentic memorabilia from the
Officers’ Club at Subic Bay, including hundreds of unique
carved plaques commemorating the missions of the various military
groups that passed through over the years, and offers a very special
setting for groups too small to book the whole museum.
